1. What are the rates?

1.     A one-day guided fishing trip is $575 for 1-3 anglers.
2.     Add $100 for 4th angler. Maximum 4 anglers per boat.
3.     A one-night stay to include appetizers, dinner, hot breakfast, and lunch on the boat, cold sodas, and water is $150 per person/per night, plus occupancy tax of 6%.

2. What is the maximum occupancy?

1.     We can accommodate up to 29 people. For those who would like to have “lodge exclusivity “ and use of the entire Bay Flats Lodge. If you bring or pay for 15 people, we will not book any other guests on the dates your visiting. We do have nice motels a short drive from the lodge, if you wish to bring more people.

3. Do I need to bring fishing gear?

1.     We supply rods and reels. If you have your own rod and reels, we suggest you bring it with you. We do rent waders and boots if you decide to wade fish. When making reservations, please let us know if you have your own equipment.

4. Do I have to wade fish or can I fish from the boat?

1.     This is totally up to you and your party. We accommodate anglers of all experience levels. When making reservations, please let us know what style of fishing you will be doing.

5. How much is live bait?

1.     If requested in advance, we can arrange to have live bait on the boat. Live bait is seasonal and price can ran range from $60 to $95 per boat.

6.  How many people per room?

1.     We have a total of 6 suites, 4 of these suites have 2 rooms, which sleep up to 6 people. The guesthouse sleeps up to 4 people. The private guest room sleeps up to 1 guests or a couple. Every suite, guesthouse and room has it’s own private bathroom with central air.

7.  Do I have time to shower and relax before my drive home?   

1.     Yes your welcome to return to your room to shower and relax after your  fishing or duck hunting trip.

8. Can I make a special request for dinner?

1.     If your group has the entire lodge, you’re welcome to make a request. If you’re on a special diet, please let us know well in advance. With advance notice, we can arrange to be flexible.

9. Can I request a certain guide?

1.     Given he is available, you are allowed to request a certain guide.

10.What time should we arrive?

1.     Plan to arrive by 5 PM for check in.

11. How long does the fishing trip normally last?

1.     Typically we depart before or at sun up, and return between 2-4 pm.

12. Do I have to stay at the lodge to fish with Bay Flats Guides?

1.     If we have guides available, we allow drive in parties.

13. Can I stay at the lodge without fishing with you?

1.     Your welcome to stay with us Monday-Thursday only.

14.  What isn’t included in my stay?

1.     Hard liquor and beer.
2.     Tips
3.     Live bait
4.     Fishing License and stamps

15. What is your refund/Reschedule policy?

1.     There are no refunds. We will reschedule due to bad weather. Bookings are based on the group total in the party. Deposits are based on the total trip cost. Trip may be rescheduled 14 days out or more. Party size can be adjusted within 30 days or more; deposit may be applied to balance. Within 14 days, no rescheduling is allowed, trip cost and balance is fixed for the original number of party members booked.
